While many companies have been making lots of noise about their plans to release OLED products LG have somewhat been very quite compared to other OLED manufactures.

LG have confirmed that come December they will of ready themselves to release their first official public OLED releases, these will consist of LG 15-inch OLED television and also a LG 40-inch OLED television supporting full HD, Blu ray, display ports, HDMI inputs, other models will be released throughout 2010. The 40-inch model is expected to be a popular choice over the Xmas break.

  • 1,366 x 768 pixel resolution
  • 30,000-hour shelf life
  • claims of being the first sub 3mm thick display
